This article is for group admins. If you're a new admin, get a tour of popcam. Manage your group by logging in, tapping the menu in the upper left, then tapping your group's name. If you don't see your group's name, then you're not an admin of your group.

About your people

Your group's "people" tab lists who has access to see and share your group's photos. Additionally, you can tap on anyone to see photos of them and edit their data for your group.


You can add or remove people any time to stay up-to-date and ensure everyone has the access they need.



Inviting someone

On your group's "people" tab, tap "+", then tap "invite someone" to invite one person at a time. Enter their name, email, and whatever other info your group tracks, then tap "send invite"


They'll appear on your group immediately, with a "re-invite" button until they accept the invite. Their invite will be emailed to the email address you entered.



Inviting in bulk

On your group's "people" tab, tap "+", then tap "invite in bulk" to invite many people at a time. You'll be prompted to prepare an CSV with each person's name, email, and whatever other info your group tracks, then to send the CSV to help@popcam.me to be added. NOTE: a Lumatic Admin does this, so it may take a while.


Once your members are added, they'll appear on your group, with a "re-invite" button until they accept the invite. Their invite will be emailed to the email address you entered.


Here's how your CSV should be organized:



Invite link

On your group's "people" tab, tap "+", then tap "copy invite link" to get an invite link you can share to let people join your group on their own. Only share this link with people you trust — anyone who has access to your link can join your group and then see your photos.


Once someone signs up using your link, they'll appear on your "people" tab.



Editing someone

On your group's "people" tab, you'll see the name of everyone in your group. Tap their name to see photos of them. Tap the pencil "edit" button to edit their data for your group.


NOTE: after you invite them, you do not have access to edit someone's name, email, or phone number. If a change is needed for one of these, have the person update their personal data themselves. If you invited someone with the wrong email, then you must remove them from your group and re-invite them.



Removing someone

Did someone "Graduate" from your group? Set them to an alumni so they still have access to their photos.


Need to remove someone forever? Tap the pencil "edit" button next to their name, then tap the red "remove from group" button to remove them. Note that they may still have access to photos they downloaded before you removed them.



Managing roles

There are three roles within your group:

  • The Account Owner is the primary contact for the group.  All groups require an Account Owner, and there can be only one.  The Account Owner can manage all photos, people, events, group settings, and enter popcam bookings.
  • Admins have the same permissions as Account Owners.
  • Staff or Active members only have read-only access to view photo galleries, and cannot see the group, change any group settings, or enter popcam bookings. 


To change a user's role, on your group's "people" tab, tap "..." next to a user and select a new role. They will immediately have admin access the next time they log in.
